Object Damage Counts

In several games modes, siege, escort, and now incursion, damaging objects is part of the game.

Turrets, generators, and so forth all count for the mode. They all, even if they aren't direct victory requirements, help the team achieve victory.
It would seem only sensible, especially for those game modes where destroying the objects is part of the victory condition, that the damage you do to them count.
Heck, the turrets even shoot back!

So, please show the damage done to objects, at least those that give match score, as part of your damage total.

Edit: UAV kills too should count.

I agree, more or less. I'd like some kind of kill assist bonus for when I do damage to a turret or other object. It's a little frustrating how you get nothing for it unless you happen to be the one who did the last bit of damage.

I think the base/turret assist would make sense.

Okay, after playing a few more incursions the object destruction assist is badly needed.
It sucks to watch hundreds of xp and thousands of cbills go to somebody else on the team who just takes a random pot shot when you have been diligently working on an the object for a while.
(Badly damaged mech, only a couple medium lasers left, got two base objects in a row down to ~10%, with me the only person shooting at them, only to have somebody else polish it off. If I were more paranoid, I'd say they had done it intentionally).

Yes, having the damage count makes great logical sense, but the assist for match score and other rewards, that's crucial.
