Attacking The Fuel Carrier Question

I found one in the enemy base near a tower, the fuel cell symbol was still displayed, so i attacked and killed him a few seconds later.

But i am not sure if i killed him before he was able to transfer the energy to the tower.

My question is: does attacking the fuel carrier interrupt the fuel transfer from the mech to a tower?

I think it does interrupt but I'm not 100% sure on that. More like... 70%

According to the patch notes, you can interrupt collection by being within the vicinity but nothing about when powering up the tower so I assume it's a no.

Were you rewarded?

When i killed a courier, there was an additional score.

Can confirm that attacking while power is transferring interrupts the transfer.
