So you guys put out an event for incursion and incursion drops 1 in every 4 matches, or around once every 45 minutes give or take. [Redacted] I'm going to put some time towards other FTP games where they actually have a clue on the basics of what makes a good event, you know like at least making it prevalent enough that you can actually participate in it.

Thats nothing. Getting the "delivery failed" is ******** hard. Gota play selfish in the ofchance the other team has a noob still carrying cell after the initial fetch.

Well to be fair, it's not like you have to play it. But yeah it's a total mess.

With that fuel cell ****, PGI should have made the dispenser even more frequent to give away battery, so that it would be a total hotspot.

And make the tower effect last longer... as it stands now, powering a tower does too little for the fight...

so...you're gonna throw away years because what? personal entitlement issues over an event? No where is it written that PGI has to make easy peasy events EVERYONE can auto-win instantly in a handful of matches. Actually its in the own (and all players) best interests to make them difficult, as that encourages players to keep playing, which means more in the queue for the matchmaker to put matches together with.

The even design sucks. That's not news to anyone. While I'm jazzed about the Roughnecks I admit - the event sucking so bad (and, well, that QP seems to get even worse every time I make the mistake of clicking on it) has killed much of my buzz.

The game is still just the game. Play it and have fun, act like the event is bugged and unplayable or a mistake on the news link or whatever. It's designed to teach people to hate Incursion, just in case they may have liked it otherwise.

I played 10 hours of MWO today.

I saw Incursion a total of 6 times. So that's about 10% of the time.

Didn't complete the event. Not sure I can be bothered trying further, tbh.

Yup sounds right, its why I'm not playing this weekend. I might come back when new tech drops. PGI has a lot of assclowns when it comes to game mechanics, tournaments and common ******* sense. They are a good example of the problem with the games industry where the money was put into flashy graphics and online play and little was put back into the ruleset. It took PGI about 3 years before they understood that 6 PPC stalkers and Poptarting PPFLD was "possibly" a bad idea for game play.

You can a lot more bang for your buck on A or AA game developer from Steam who actually focus on gameplay.
