, but this thread is about the refund and not what's wrong with the skill tree.

This thread was about PGi thinking they announced Module Refund in February 2017 not december 2016 actually.

( Since Februar i buyed Modules worth 250 Millions Cbills and those will be 100% refunded! I can live with that. )

Its since December 3rd now.

What I want to get confirmed is the current PTS is showing you returns based on February 8 not dec 3 isnt it ? so I dont actually know how much of my modules I purchased between those 2 dates / what my actual gsp / cbill return ratios will be, how they give us another version of pts before launch with correct date.

You can't have your cake and eat it too. What people want is a full CBill refund for all their modules AND the ability to insta-master every Mech they've mastered before. But mastery INCLUDES modules now, so you'd be refunded twice. Not happening, get over it. The full CBill refund was on the table in March, and it got rejected. They didn't lie, they wanted to deliver on their promise, and all hell broke loose. Grow up, grow a pair and deal with it.

These posts make me laugh...

Go read their terms, anything you 'purchase' in this game, you DO NOT OWN. They could ban your account and you have ZERO right to request refunds for the money you've spent. You are leasing a digital product at the discretion of PGI, which is the way basically EVERY game with digital content works. Your account gets banned in CS:GO? Tough Luck. LoL? Oh well. WoW? Sucks to be you. You get NOTHING back.

That aside, the amount of salt over the 'tryhard' and/or 'wallet' warriors is absolutely hilarious. Please tell me again how you bought the mech pack only because it had the modules in it. Rule #1: If you're not buying the mech pack first and foremost, BECAUSE OF THE MECH, never buy one. Thinking of the additional content as a reason to buy the mech pack is your fault. The content in this game can be changed at ANY time by PGI because guess what? There is a DISCLAIMER saying they can that YOU AGREED TO. When you signed up, when you buy anything, you are agreeing that you are giving PGI money in exchange for use of digital content that they retain FULL CONTROL OVER.

Be happy PGI is willing to work on compensation for changing all of these things. Sometimes game companies say 'hah, no' and just change it causing you to lose time/money. Now, if you dislike HOW they're compensating you (i.e. the XP instead of CBills) then make your voice heard... In a way where you don't sound like a complete Blakist. Find a post where the topic is, add your voice to it. While possibly effective, spamming the same topic over again with your own OP is probably the worst way to do so.

What's a blakist?
I bought the KDk's because of modules, I saw that you get radar dep and that was the deciding
Factor

Of course I thought I would get radar dep for all my Kodiaks not just one lol

He is correct it is the cheapskates who cried about not having the cbills fully node out all the mechs with "module level quirks" they never owned. Before this we were all going to get cbill refunds. So now cheapskates get everything for free and we get extra upgrade credits.

Again, if those "Cheapskates" dont have the modules, why would they get everything for free? They dont profit at all because as "Cheapskates" they neither would have gotten millions of Cbills before and wont get lots of Xp now.

Their whining basically screwed over anyone who put money into modules, but they got about ~30 skill nodes back than they would have because mastered gives 91 skillnodes now instead of 67 or whatever.

Pretty much what is going on now is that people who did put time and money into buying many modules are getting nothing... just like the people who did nothing.

Its sorta like if they can't have it then nobody can, break everyone's leg because one person's hurt.

Sure they do they have more mechs coming out mastered than anyone who bought modules. All i ended up with is less mechs and so many extra upgrade credits i might never use them.

Exactly, all of us who bought modules weren't playing pokemech and won't be after the patch either, so the few mechs we had we had modules on them and had them mastered.

I was actually planning on buying a few copies of some of my favorites with the new PTS so I can have each skilled up a different way, I even got a second Night Gyr D all ready.

Without the cbills I have nothing to buy these mechs with and nothing to upgrade their tech with two months from now. I also have nothing to spend all my GXP on, and I'll have nothing to spend all the XP I get from piloting just the couple of mechs I have if I continue to play.

GXP is practically worthless to the people who bought many modules.

Where do those 30 Skill nodes come from? And yes, if you bought modules prior to the date you are getting screwed. By PGI. Whoever didnt buy any modules or only few couldnt care less. It does not change anything for me. I am also screwed because i have to pay to "master", you had the choice to buy modules, you did and now you get screwed but certainly not by them "cheapskaters".

With what? They dont get refunded 0 modules = 0 XP how many more mechs can you master? You now even have to pay cbills to master. Your argument is invalid.

As I have been saying all this time, at least half of the problems with this game can be traced back to the very loud and whiny player base. <smh>

Very loud and whiny SMALL FRACTION OF THE PLAYER BASE THAT READS AND POSTS ON FORUMS.

Remember, as usual for MMOs, the VAST majority is silent, and usually happy with the changes/refunds/new toys ...

Citing the terms of service as an excuse for accepting this GSP refund is a silly argument and accomplishes nothing.

Someone who has 1,000,000,000cBills in modules is getting back +26,000GSP but what if they don't have the 285 mechs that can skill up? Are they just going to sit on all that GSP forever?

Not a happy prospect for dedicated players.

Thanks to the big whiney crybabies, who destroyed the first skill tree attempt, we now have this mess!

Now I only hope that all the players, who get screwed over because of this, are equally vocal!

I hold PGI accountable on announcements on MechCon and want, insist on a full refund (c-bills and gxp) on all modules owned!

But, on the other hand, I still doubt a skill tree will ever be implemented.

Well, could you please point out any thread where somebody demanded PGI to not refund the full cbill for modules?

Ok, lemme get this strait..

Some guys here are pissed that they bought modules in mechpacks for real money, and now that modules are being removed.. you want.. what exactly?

Your money back?

Your modules to remain?

Are you really that... like... I can't even...

Just.. NO.

This is an online videogame.. any money you spend on a videogame in general is like spending it on a movie.. you won't get a refund if you saw a movie, and you think the movie sucks, you wan't get a refund for used shoes, or a used car?

So why do you think you would get a refund for modules?

And the best thing is.. YOU ARE being refunded.. you will get to apply enough skill points or whatever to the same mech that had the module to have the same thing once more..

So please, enlighten me..

What exactly is PGI supposed to do here?

I mean seriously.. some people... :-(
