Recommendation - Consumables should be made available to each mech and without skill tree penalty -we don't pay for used ammunition. Consumables should not be considered a skill.

Just make them free to use. Treat them as ammo. We only pay for those once. Or let us pay for Red smoke launchers and UAV dispensers, but only once, like weapons.
Having to pay 200.000 c-bills each match to use your skills is ridiculous.

I totally agree. Something must be done for the Mech modules versus Pilot skill as well. The more I dig in to this thing the less fair it seems to Veteran players.

I would be fine if they reduce the cost of consumables to 10k (from 40k) as now you don't have the "upgraded" versions, but the skills just increase the effects per mech.

you need to see the mech tree different, it is not actually real skills, see it as an tuning" of you mech with your engineers. There specific things they cna alter on your mech, like enhancing the gyro or making some space for another module slot. But there is just that much space for alteration possible and so you cannot slap 5 consumable son your emhc without saving on others.
Honestly I would have entirely avoided the term skill if I were pGI because yes it doesn't sounds like skill what consumables are. I would have called them "Mech Tuning Trees" as this is what mmakes sense by name.
but we seriosuly need some cbill reudction for consumables otherwise the gap between the ric core palyers and the poorer newbies and casuals will widen due to less spammabilties of consumables.
