There are many among us that will end up with more GSP than we want or would even be able to ever spend. Please let us sell GSP for 45,000 and lose out on the free XP.

The amount of free skill points we are getting is beyond silly. If players got cbills instead then they would simply be getting more freedom to get what they want, since those same cbills could be used to get skill points anyways.
Its like they are trying to go from A straight to C when just going to B would be fine.

I am looking at enough GSP to master 24 mechs, but that doesn't take into account that I mastered a dozen, so I am looking at over 35 mechs mastered. That still doesn't take into account my GXP, which allows me to master another 5 mechs. So I am looking at over 40 mechs mastered. I could amplify this further by buyiong mechs I mastered, so I can play more mastered mechs.
I can only imagine what it looks like for someone that put in more effort and time than me.

No doubt we are getting too many skill points (those who purchased a lot of modules). Solutions proposed so far: Partial CBIll/SP refund for modules, buyback period at full value prior to patch, and this one- sell SP for the Cbills/losing the free/unwanted XP (I like it)
All reasonable solutions.
and getting CBILLS back is not game breaking as some fear- after all, these are things we have earned/purchased already, not a free gift from PGI.
Otherwise I am happy with skill tree and look forward t it going live, and getting built upon. Also generally happy that PGI is choosing the more generous rather than conservative refund options, but the balance is out with the current PTS implementation.

I agree with the topic title.
I thought I'd pop on the PTS server and see what the refund looks like for me. Here's what I found (shrunk down for clarity):

That's 45,000 GSP...
Now, at the time of PTS creation I had 315 'Mechs, and they were all mastered (except for the Roughnecks). So this means that I also had about 28,000 HSP spread around my 'Mech stable. That works out at just over 230 Skill Points per 'Mech...
I mean... that's cool and all, but I just don't see myself using that much GSP. Admittedly I'm not quite sure what I would do with 2 Billion C-Bills either, but having the choice would be pretty cool

Besides 2 chicks at the same time?
There's a "first world problems" hashtag in there somewhere
