Like, any fee on anything after the initial purchase is bs, whether it be xp, cbills, gxp.

I have had no problems with literally any other part of the skill tree, i have faith its designed to get a balance and the new balance guru sounds knowledgeable. All thats great, but forcing me to rebuy skills ive already unlocked is just rediculous. I get that we are trying to get pushed to get doubles of each mech so they can be skilled differently, but just saying that, it feels con-like.

I normally have faith, but when i heard you were gonna fix it i thought someone woulda mentioned its a pretty **** move. I have quite a few mechs, not triple digits, but a few. I dont want to have to do 10 'walk of shame' qp's as punishment for trying something unique to 1 game im doing. Thats just ridiculous.

Id rather use that time to fill a new mechbay with a mech i dont have yet.

I kind of like it being xp. It gives some reason to keep collecting it after you fully node it.I have mechs with hundreds of millions if not that big of an issue for most people.

If anything decrease the amount if you need too but its a nice feature.

Heres the thing though, i get drunk and mess around once and use all my xp, i gotta spend 36 matches, assuming i get 1000xp per match, to get my mech back in fighting trim. Thats a lot of punishment for messing around a bit.

It all comes down to having to rebuy things id already bought. It adds a punishment for experimenting, which is the only exciting part of this game. Gotta buy every node once to be able access it, great. Gotta buy it again because you changed loadouts to play a few derp matches in private lobby? Thats were it becomes bs.

Why would anyone remove every point? I would be more worried you would sell all your mechs if you get this drunk.

Again why would anyone reset all or even any skill points just to do a few private drops? I wouldn't want to wait for you to put in skill points so you can have tiny bit extra range.

Very last this is almost no different than the system we have now. We have set quirks on mechs. IF you dont like the quirks you have set you take another mech. This just gives a little bit more freedom.

The real problem is they have no way to test out builds without some kind of fee. We need a testing lab that lets us try different builds, go into the testing grounds with those builds, and then we can implement or change for no cost.

Changing builds is a huge part of BT and we really need a true testing ground to let us tweak for free.

Respec for XP is perfectly fine, it could maybe let me eventually if I completely respec my Nova after every match, possibly use up some fraction of the 3,000,000 xp I have on that chassis.
