How to make this skill tree work by changing how the nodes work.

First let get some things clear you will still pay the node tax no matter how much we dislike it The leadership wants it as we keep seeing it.

The Node will have settings.
1. On = This node has an effect to mech and child nodes will stay active.
2. Off = This node has No effect to mech and child nodes will deactivate.
3. Pass Through = This node has No effect to mech and child nodes will stay active.
4. Automatic Pass Through = This node has No effect to mech and child nodes will stay active.

Now concerning the 91 Active nodes you still get them just the Pass Through and Automatic Pass Through do not count as active nodes.

How this works.
1. You have to buy a node!
2. You set the node as On, Off, or Pass Through.
3. Automatic Pass Through cost nothing and are used to skip nodes that the mech does not have the ability to use.

Example: the mech does not have lasers so all the laser only nodes would become Automatic Pass Through nodes.

Example: setting a node as Pass Through like Ams 1 lets you use the child nodes without losing them casue you did not put an ams on the Mech and it does not count as an active node ether.

Anyway Ideas on making this thing work.

Be Safe.

I would definitely prefer not having to buy nodes that I have no interest in just because PGI wants to force me to by placing it in front of what I really want. I would much rather have simple trees with straight branches of one type of node per branch with them gradually costing more as you go further up the branch (so mastering a branch would not be cheap). It would cost plenty to master a few select branches, but at least they would all be what we want in the first place with zero waste. Thoughts?

Modification of In Game System Already.
Remove the Three Mech Chassis to unlock Skill Ladder

Skill Basic
Cool Run (Heat Dissipation) 7.5%
Kinetic Burst (Acceleration) 7.5%
Twist X (Upper Torso Turn increase) 2.5%
Heat Containment ( Increases heat limit)10%
Hard Brake (Deceleration) 7.5%
Twist Speed (Upper Torso Turn speed increase) 2.5%
Arm Reflex (Arm Speed increase) 2.5%
Anchor Turn (Mech Turn Speed) 2.5%

Elite Skills
Quick Ignition (Startup and Shutdown Speed ) 33%
Weapon Cool Down (All Weapons) 5%
Weapon Convergence (All Weapons) 15%
Speed Tweak (Mech Go Faster) 7.5%

Once All Elite Skills are Mastered All Basic Skills X2

Once Master Skill Unlocks 1 Module Slot And Elite Level Skills X 2 And Basic Level Skills X 3

Also Unlocks Tech Tree for Module Expansion for that Mech. O.o
Anyway Was thinking this would cost less time to implement than a whole new Skill tree.
