I have a 6x AC2 King Crab that I built just for the noise but it always performed terribly...too much heat, not enough damage. I just starting plying with it again and I'm up to 500~750 damage per match and I seldom have any heat to speak of.

Were they tweaked again or have I just gotten better with them?

Yea they reduced heat on them about 4 months back

I'm seeing...I just dropped my heat sinks for four tons of additional ammunition and it doesn't seem to have had an effect. Now that I'm playing the crab again I'm actually noticing a lot of other players with AC2's as well.

I spent the last six months not really being able to play so I'm not sure what all has changed in the interim.

Neat. Not as fun as the days when my 2x AC2 catapult could wreck the match but still quite fun.

AC2 heat was reduced from 1.0 to 0.6. 40% reduction.

When I started playing this game I played with AC2's...easily my favorite weapon. When they nerfed them years (2012? 13?) I moved on to lasers because my builds could no longer handle the heat and the cooldown was extended.

Bringing the heat back down, though...I love them again.
