Sp- You Have To Use More Than 91 Points

Having more GSP is a good thing because you'll need 242 total SP per mech if you end up trying out all the nodes at some time or another. More than likely most people will use around 125 nodes total after tweaking different weapon loadouts, but that's just a rough guess.

Yeah, but you would have to buy those additional variants, now, before the Skill Tree goes live to get that duplicate HXP from a variant that you already own. I believe that after the Skill Tree goes live then there will be no more HXP or GSP other than what you have already banked.

Will new content be added and how much and will GSP even be useable for it.
As it looks now I will be dumping half my modules or more before this update.

GO read the patch notes and Skill tree test write up again, they are only used for MECHS which is why people are mad because they need CBILLS to buy new tech, new weapons and new mechs once they drop.
So some people will be stuck with a whole LOT of GSP and HSP but no cbills to buy anything to use them on.

Oh come now... you can't say no cbills to buy anything because we are getting a lot of cbills in exchange. I had 70 million sitting in my account on test. That's a lot of tech and weapons I can buy.
And GSP has future value because it will can be used on any mech. The fact I can buy a new mech and instantly drop 91 SP out of the GSP pool is amazing and a huge time savings.

Except...that while you are play testing a skill point selection in matches you will earn XP. So for most players who have a purpose built mech build how many alternate skill point builds would you need? How much time will be spent playing to test a skill build before deciding to respec the points? How much XP will be earned in the interm? How valuable will a giant bloated bank of XP be to players with giant bloated XP banks?
If someone has enough "banked" XP from module refunds to remaster 100 mechs that already have enough "banked" Xp on them currently to remaster them what value is the module refund?
What would you rather have.
The ability to respec skill trees dozens of times on a mech that will in all likelyhood never need to be respeced after it's first one (maybe two skill builds)
or...a billion C-bills.

I won't get a billion c-bills, so that's a moot point.
And I'd rather have the GSP in my account because I prefer to play the mechs that feel right than grind through a mech that is sluggish and annoying.
Maybe I'm an oddball, but I routinely change up my mech builds to find the one that fits. I probably average 5 builds per mech before I settle on something for awhile. Then I'll end up changing it around again later. So having GSP sitting there ready to click is amazing for me. C-bills are pretty easy to get because I can play any of my mechs, to include the ones with 30% c-bill bonus, to get c-bills. Getting the EXP to fill out the skills is tedious and I'll take any shortcut there I can get short of paying with real money.

I would not use any cbills for skill nodes until I'm nearly out of GSP. It's better to buy new mechs with cbills.
