Over my time in MWO i have bought many Mechs, and i have had to sell some to free up Mech bay space or i just hated the Mech.

Will i be refunded the XP spent on these Mechs?
I don't mind if the XP is only available to me if i purchase that Mech again.

Yes any mastery levels or XP on sold mechs will still be there if you decide to rebuy the mech.

*only mechs sold before the skill tree drops mind.

You might get xp (might, seen no evidence of this), but you don't get HSP which is the actual currency you want. HSP is better than HXP any day of the week.

If you had mastered a mech before the skill tree and sold it and rebuy it after the skill tree, it will have HSP.

Edit: I literally JUST tested this, on the PTS. I used to own Jenners a very, very long time ago (never mastered all of them). I just re bought them on the test server. My D has 57 HSP my F has 91 HSP and K has 57 HSP. They also have some HXP as well.

Nothing is lost.
