I think it was over a year ago when i left this game, mostly because it had become stagnant and bland....but now i'm back for more because I feel moving the timeline forward was a smart move....a lot of my favorite Mechs are in this timeline, the Uziel being one of them.
Moving on, what i still want to see is TRUE Mercenary factions in this game.....you'll let people join houses and create groups within those house.....so why not join The Kell hounds or Wolfe's Dragoons and create a company within that "faction" of mercenary....just limit the number of members that you can have AND only let those Merc forces stay in the areas they fought in (lore wise).
Pirates...this should be insanely easy. limit the number in the group they can have, if they win a planet they collect the value of it for the next 24 hours resources can not be collected and that group moves on to the next target(s) in other words pirates can not control planets. but allow them to go anywhere
Oh and please, please, please. for someone like me thats HATES the clans but loves the tech i want to be able to put clan tech on my IS mechs AND to be able to drop in a clan mech against clanners.....i don't know why this isn't a thing...even after jumping the timeline so far....you had forces that would use clan tech or if possible they'd rebuild clan mechs and use them....
i honestly feel like you (PGI) have been doing the bare minimum for a couple of years now.....it's time to step up and do better and A LOT better....you guys have pulled me back in with the Uzeil and MadcatII....now it's time to add more to the game then just mechs

I like the idea of Pirates but i think they should be work more off a raid type system, because to take an actual planet currently in the game can take a few weeks with both IS and Clan battling for lands and what not.
Basicly it would work like this, a pirate raiding team would "drop" an a planet they fight three consecutive battles best 2 of 3 wins. if they win they get a big payout of C-bills, and infamy, the higher the infamy you gain the more likely factions and clans will put a bounty on you.
The higher the bounty on you the more C-bills and rep IS, merc and clan players get for killing you. I think this will help keep other players from ignoring invites to stop pirate raids.
