Hi PGI,
I have the Viper Ultimate Pack (a gift) and while I really enjoy piloting them there is something that has become quite the annoyance. The front nose of the mech keeps getting 'stuck' on scenery when jumping meaning a couple of things will happen every time it is used.
1) The mech can 'overjump' meaning that once it becomes clear of the scenery and the 'juddering', it flies up, and up, and up making it an ideal target that just hangs in the air. The second problem with this is that because the JJ fuel has been used to try and free the mech from the scenery, the subsequent fall has no 'feathering' from the JJ meaning leg damage WILL be sustained.
2) Getting 'stuck' on scenery inevitably means that it will take damage from the scenery. On several occasions this has meant that a mech that has no armour on a location will lose that location without being damaged by the enemy. The map is literally tearing the mech apart for the enemy. On one occasion, while the mech was stuck on scenery, the side torso literally ripped itself from the mech.
Thank you for reading this and I hope that this will be given the attention it deserves,

I totally agree on problem 1) I don't think it's viper specific problem, but the viper is the most likely to see it duo to the massive amount of JJ it carries. This JJ misbehavior should definitely be fixed.
Can't say that I've run into 2) noticeably

Agreed on #1, it's brutal to be hung up like a pinata. Happens a lot of HPG... I barely clip the edge, then I'm suddenly vaulted up for all to see then fall to my doom.

Update on this. Have just played a match where I clipped the wall in Incursion mode in a Viper at the start of the match. Hung in the air a little but remembered to keep some fuel for landing. As the mech dropped, engaged jump jets and landed pretty damn smoothly only to have about 50% of the armour stripped from the undamaged mech legs. Must have dropped maybe 2 meters at the end but for some reason took damage as though I'd fallen from the sky!
