What about haveing some crazy game modes for next years Aprils fools day or in general have some not so seriouse modes. Would anyone like that and what would it be?

"Mech Quake Tournament"
I had once made a crossover of TT+Unreal Tournament/Quake.
Mode was capture the flag with special bonus items droping randomly on the map. It was pretty hillariouse.
One time a Locust picked up a quad-damage, resulting in his ML turing into an AC20 and his MG doing 8 DMG each.
The other time I picked up a double-speed in my Grand Titan, speeding up to ~120kph and chasing a Hornet.
We also had heals/repairs droping and other stuff. Could be a pretty chaotic mode in MWO.

"Enemys pick"
In this mode you would create a dropdeck. After map selection one player of the enemy team gets to pick your mech to be played. If no selection is made you get a random mech to play.
There should also be a limit to what you can play.
Guess this mode would be less fun as most people have a drop deck with no bad mechs or just 4 times the same mech. Still could be interesting.

"Urbie-rush"
4 people VS AI. You and 3 other people have to defend against an increasing number of Urbanmechs.
Yah I know we don't have a real AI yet but till next year they still have some time...and yes Urbie-rush contradicts itself but that is what makes it kinda funny.

"Free for all" or "Big stomping"
24 people, no rules, just fire away and hope you survive.
Most likely the easiest to do mode. Just remove friendly fire, because there aren't any friends!

Thats what spontanouse comes up my mind...anyone else got some crazy / fun ideas?

This is for the next 1st as things like this need time to be develop and implement. Else it would mean that PGI has so many people that they can build entire gamemodes in seconds to release it just the day they had the idea ^_^
Not that this wouldn't be greate but then I guess that we would have a lot more gamemodes, maps, mechs, etc. by now.

Oh yah an URF (Ultra-Rapid-Fire) Mode for MWO...
League of Legends has it and its allways fun when it comes at 01.04.
So in MWO that would mean, no cooldowns, no ammo, no heat, basicly every negativ aspect would be removed.
To keep the firework going mechs should have twice the armor or even tripple as without and holding back I think matches would be over to quickly.
Maybe even add an AOE damage to weapons?

Another idea in that direction...what about crazy weapon modes like LRMs shoot mini nukes and ACs turn into bubbleguns?

This kind of stuff always made me happy when I played LoL.

I remember the day I got URF Warwick skin, and U.R.F. games with Ezreal. Good times, if the player base wasn't such a sponge for toxicity I would probably still play it.

Everymech goes 150kph and all mech gets armor boosted to make it hit 100ton. So a dire dont get an armor buff at all but a lct gets an extra 80%.
