Why would you think that 3JJ in a 90 ton mech would be any good? PGI is deathly afraid to allow mechs heavier than a nova to actually be able to jump. You'll probably do better packing an additional 6 tons of ammo...

1.5-2t more armour
1-2t more ammo
TC Mk 1
1 more DHS
For most recommended trades for the JJ's

Ok did some renders.

Not all parts are painted. I assume and hope the PTS files were at a work in progress stage.

Quality doesn't represent in game quality since the normal maps are made for cryengine, or maybe some other conversion issue.

Flipped the gauss rifles from how they were imported. Placement is by hand since they import out of their final position.

If that's what they're going to look like, my only complaint will be if those Gauss are as long as the early models. That's bloody beautiful. (Would prefer the arms slightly longer, but hey, compromises.)

Yeah longer arms would still be nice. Like that than make the nose longer, a little less tall.

Thanks Motion and jjm1!

My conclusions:
  • The arms are indeed a bit too stubby (like the Night Gyr's)
  • Alex didn't repeat the same mistake like what he did to the Timberwolf's back (it's flat and ugly)
  • It does need a little more bend in the knees
  • Overall, the model is pretty decent
And BTW, this Microsoft's creation looks better than the original Timberwolf Posted Image

Well to be fair, the MWO version of the TImber Wolf is in my opinion the best rendition of it to date, it actually looks like it can run and support it's own weight.

As for the Mk. II, it's legs look to skinny.. I had honestly expected them to use the Timber Wolf and upscale it by about 20-25%.

Alex decided to use the original "scissors" legs for the MKII and Uziel (the first 'Mechs in MWO with that design) which means that the upper legs need to be skinny.

Upper leg, sure, lower leg not so much.... It jsut doesn't feel like the legs have enough bulk for a 90t platform, for my preference.

I'm personally a fan of the skinny legs. I understand your view though.

I want the MC MK II-A to have its left energy hardpoint replaced wit a ballistic hardpoint instead to make some needed symmetry! Its not a canon variant so no excuse NOT to change it. Big thanks if they ever do...
Heck even the ordinary Timber wolf can swap pods at least to make it so.

Hmmm... well looks like I called it. Looks the same as before the feedback post. Hence the silence.

Of course not... just kinda irked. I don't get why the concept art isn't more closely followed. It's like advertising a full size truck with a lift kit, and getting a short bed low rider.

It's still better than the Dire Wolf, but with the engine decoupling, my faith in having fun in the game even with my pride and joy is wavering.
