You could offer to illustrate the difference between the GHP and the WHM to him in a couple of private matches?

LOL I could. Same as Ted Wayz who claimed long range ballistic shots required no skill - but then he dodged the 1v1 lobby as well where I promised I would beat him 10-0.

The GHP is the better mech 5P is great but the 5H is the BOSS of laser vom. It's more agile and agility wins in the hands of a good player. But you are correct, wouldn't matter which one I ran. Both would be XL and either would dominate as I would play to the advantage of each.

I must be the only one running a ghp with a std lol I like the 2lpl 6med :) I look forward to the light engine for this mech. Should let me go 3lpl5med ,

Probably. No one I know runs a STD GHP lol. That 82km/h is a must to keep up with Clan mechs. Going 70-74 isn't enough.

LFE won't give you the tonnage for 3LPL/5ML on a 5P, not if you wanna actually keep it cool. Plus the 5H is the one you run for LPL/ML with the -15% heat. 3LPL is just so much stronger, that extra ranged damage for closing where you can drop 2-3 volleys on approach from 500m is far more powerful tan 6ML at 300m from a hell hot 5P.

You dont need to keep up with the clan mechs they're coming to kill you :P

The only people left who play FP are in units so the only advice you will get will be extremely unsympathetic and be mostly of the variety of get gud, join unit, don't suck. Try not to let it get you down.

At least the spawn camp ends quickly not like those other matches when you have been completely overwhelmed but they decide to draw the game out and not take the objectives to win, but instead just decide to **** around and wait for respawns etc so they can get MOAR C BILLS!

Until they implement a match maker or separate ques for groups and pugs this will never change.

PGI has to do something ASAP!

THIS SITUATIOBN IS BIG ******** AND ALL KNOW IT!

93% is a devastating clear sign that cant be negated by anything.
It's the clear truth of numbers that cant be discussed...

I am sure there will be plenty IS players that again wont get all prises of the event, like last time.

I had TWO wins yesterday because the matchmaker failed to launch a twelve man group both times.

Yep, something's wrong.

Another thing I noticed is that the IS owns scouting. It's almost as if they're focusing on scouting first, to get that part of the event out of the way, before focusing on the other. Just a hunch.

You need to learn some math, or pay better attention to the event.

As of this post, the Clans have 23,998 pts (that's 23,998 wins by individual players. 1 Invasion win = 12 pts, 1 scouting = 4 pts) IS has 19,666 pts. 23,998 / 43,664 (total pts in system atm) = 55% Win by Clan (or you could do 19,666/43,664 = 45% win by IS)

Clans are not winning 93% of all matches. However, because of the nature of Tug of war system (as long as one side is winning even by 1%, the bar moves towards their side) the bar is pushed all the way to clan max 97%-100% clan. This does not actually reflect that IS is winning 45% of the matches. Go blame PGI for the poor tug of war system.

To give you an idea of what the current numbers would have looked like in the previous two Tukayyids, 45% IS win would equal 28 - 29 IS territories held out of 63 total on the planet of Tukayyid while Clan would hold 34-35 territories of 63. Far cry from a 97% hold.
