I yet again for another year had just emailed support telling them to fix the constant disconnects. I sent the usual 2 files back that they requested yet again and this time they responded with:

I already sent this back to him last week. Beginning to think this person is a mindless drone just spitting out responses based on certain keywords.....How bout you take those two files I sent you and actually do something with it.

Usually support is helpful in such regards. Have you tried running the repair tool?

all tech support revolves around a basic script of k.i.s.s. problems, if your problem is not in the script, then you are sol. most of my networking issues usually are solved by removing cat from router or nudging my antennae over a couple cm. that degree in network admin was useless, it didnt have a section on feline interference.

I just checked my windows firewall and there was 4 entries for mechwarrior online all except 1 was enabled so I enabled all of the entries and so far was able to complete a whole match and no DC. Not sure why there is 4 entries though.

Heeeeey, Bobby Jubraj is awesome, please don't say a single bad word against Bobby!

He's one of the best customer service guys I've ever seen in a videogame's support team... the man works his rear torso off, and has always helped me with everything..

Try talking to your ISP before you go assaulting Bobby..

My experience matches this too. I previously got fairly regular d/cs, and almost only in this game - so I assumed it had to be the game as you see it regularly enough with other players. I later moved house and switched ISPs and poof, no more disconnects.

I have talked to my isp and I have already bought a couple mech packs. Don't accuse me of not supporting the game just to look smart. Like I said I have already given him multiple files over the last couple yrs just to get a response of "please send me the same 2 files"....and you say he's the best? I don't care who it is at PGI that asks for the files if I send the files they ask for and a couple days later the same person tells me to send him a trace route and ping test which I already did a couple days before then as if I'm a new ticket with a DC complaint then that means they are an automated complaint response system in place to handle complaints and to appease the masses or the competence level is really low, oh and by the way my trace route and ping test shows zero packets lost.

I'm just a tad irritable because this same issue is a 3 year problem with pgi.

The repair tool is a joke and yes I already did it more than once.
