all of them.

i applied the same logic to the mad-iic. i do not regret this decision. it takes about a month to grind the cbills to buy six clan assault mechs, and about 2-3 weeks to master them all. schwacks are significantly cheaper and theres only 5 cbill varients (2 in my case since i already bought a std pack).

Depends on what you want. If you're all meta-tryhard-splat-builds than 6 missile hardpoints one. Also if it's the case I doubt bushy would be your first choice.
I got S2. I want it to be lights killer, so 1 balistic and 2 SRMs in the arms for quick tracking and shoting them, 2 ML in CT because I can and 1 LRM in LT to have something long range and because I like how awesome it looks. And bigass engine to catch up with them. Also it got turning +15% quirk and ballistic cooldown. I find it best option, since I doubt i would need more ballistic hardpoints than one in RA, so better take one with more missiles and energy.

I bought 3 for CB. X1, X2 and P1 (3xAC5, 2xAC10 and 6xASRM4).

P1 for SRM splat, but kind of limited if it turns out that's not your thing. The P2 looks flexible for dual ballistics or something like 3 LPL.

I enjoy the X2 the most, I play it like a heavier CN9-A.

I'd agree with the P1 and P2, then either the X1 or X2 if you want a 3B build (I'm getting the Hero to cover that)

Thanks for the replies. I personally like flexible mechs the most. Not too much on the splat thing but that does I could not try it again, maybe this is the chassis that does that well for me. The only on I enjoyed that in was the Mad dog back when it first arrived.

Well if you want one that can do a little of everything, then the X2 might be the best option. As it has 3B, 3M and 2E for hard points.

BSW-X2

That's my X2 build, face towards Red Team at all times, little movements of the torso lets you spread damage very well due to the narrow profile.

your build

Good one, but i find it extremely hard to have both AC arm, MLs and MGs on the torso. You have to lead the enemy with your AC10 and SRM arms, lead differently because srms and AC have very different speed, and at the same time aim your torso for MLs and MGs, which also have different speed! That's too much, how do you aphandle 4 kinds of so different weapons? That's why I bought the one with only 1 ballistic hardpoint.

AC/10 is button 1

SRM/4, MLas and MG's are button 2

If close enough for the majority of group 2 to be effective, both groups are used.

As for handeling all the weapon systems, it's not that hard for me... I was qualified to use the weapon systems that were mounted on the vehcile I piloted in my last job...

Spoiler

I had way more to keep track of then....

X2 is probably the most customizeable.

I like three button builds mostly, on that build I would probably go with AC10 on button 1, meds on 2, and mg's and srm on 3. usually only srm when I am close because I'm not very good at leading with them.

Nope.

I really learned MWO with a Dragon 1C, back shortly after Clans dropped for $, with that mechs arm movements are very important.... It's something I've since kept up with everything else I run.

Btw i's very funny to know that people who actually pilot badass war machine IRL also play this dorky mech game.

4 missile splat variant looks promising for CW, but otherwise I am not impressed about the Wacker. I will eventually buy one or two, because the mech was less screwed over than other IS Mediums in the upcoming de-quirkening.

Looking at my stats the P1 and X2 are my best Bushwackers; a 1.83 w/l and 1.26 kdr for the P1 and 1.4 w/l and 1.44 kdr for the X2. The P2 gets honourable mention with positive w/l and kdr as well. Only my S2 has negative on both the w/l and kdr, but I think that's partly because my P1 is stepping on its toes in terms of viable brawling builds so I was using the comfortable builds in the P1 and builds in the S2 that were less in my comfort zone. I have found the S2 to be a nice LRM support mech but I haven't taken it out in a while (I'm trying to master some of my mechs before the skill tree goes live).

If you play faction scouting, I'd say no question take the P1 and run an SRM boat. For general play it's less certain; I like the X2 for dual AC10s or LB10Xs, and I like the X1 for quad AC2s or triple AC5s. The P2 is good with dual LB10Xs and four medium lasers. There are a lot of viable builds for the Bushwacker because they can fit all three weapon types; it's about deciding what will be your primary weaponry and building around that.
