Stupid move IMO. These are some of the most useful threads to new players on this entire forum and they were visible from the forum front page. Now you have to dig for them, assuming you know they exist in the first place.

Yes, I was disappointed with them archiving those forums and think it's a bad move.

Those subforums didn't get a huge amount of traffic, but it was important traffic because it was a good place to discuss the merits, quirks, abilities, and nerfs of specific mechs and a place for new players to more easily find viable builds and decide on which mechs to consider buying.

It'll be hit-or-miss now whether a new player can get good mech-specific advice before their forum post is buried by unrelated posts.

Just a bump to draw attention to the fact that it appears they've un-archived the light, medium, heavy, and assault subforums.

So remember to post your upcoming Javelin builds in the light mech forums, and look over those Bushwacker threads in the medium mech forum now that they can be bought for c-bills.
