I want a hanging item: knife suggestive of the art of the Triple Alliance (Aztec).
I want a basket of nachos or chips and guacamole standing item.
I want a mariachi band warhorn.

It's all about elote... and street tacos (carne asada, onions, cilantro, lime and a wedge of jalapeño! - ermahgerds!)

I mean, they kinda gave France a black eye, but only once...

It's actually not considered a big holiday in Mexico. Except for in the state of Puebla where the battle took place. It's bigger in the US than it is in Mexico. Probably for the same reason, it's a good reason to drink.

How about a li'l Chihuahua standing item with it's head bobbing up and down going Si si si.
Maybe some colorful "chicano balls" as a hanging item
Oh, and a war horn that sounds "immigre!!"
