They may be a top level unit, but NO INNERSPHERE LASERBOAT CAN ONE SHOT TORSO ARMOR ON ASSAULTS. You walk out from cover and your insta-dead. That isnt being super good at the game and having amazing aim. No that's cheating. Lasers do not hit that hard, muchless innersphere lasers.

Welcome to focusfire and teamwork .
Also: yes, IS lasers DO hit hard ... DONKEYSTYLE ^^

hmmmm, those sweet, sweet low burntimes ... shmexy to no end .

Why do I know that ?
Played with them, quite friendly bunch of people, but highly serious about stompy robots .

P.s.: The more you stare at them without shooting, the more it´s gonna hurt .

Whether or not they were actually cheating, the main problem is that PGI refuses to use any good anti-hack software. If they did that and switched away from cryenigine (since it is full of gaping holes that can be exploited) then cheating could very possibly be a thing of the dark past. Mechwarrior 5 is going to be on the Unreal4 engine (which is a quality engine that is tough to hack from what I was told) so that gives us honest players at least some hope (that and the possibility that someone else will buy the Battletech rights from PGI and do the game right for a change).
