So since PGI suddenly squanders those Supply Cache Keys, why not add something like a golden crow bar for 1k MC or so. What it does is basically that it lets you open an unlimited number of supply caches, but with the restriction that there is a 50:50 chance that the content will be destroyed in the process.
No, I'm not drunk (yet).

why would anyone buy that?
youd have to open 80 supply caches to break even... thats like 2000 games

There are people who play enough for this to make sense. And the 1000MC was just a suggestion, one could always adjust that.

1000/25 = 40 (Not 80)
Quick Match has 24 players, so on average you'd get a supply cache 1/24 times.
40 Caches x 24 Matches per Cache = 960 Matches played, just to break even on a 1000MC Gold Crowbar

So you'd have to get twice as many supply caches just to get the same amount of rewards than using normal keys.
960 x 2 = 1920 Matches, just to get the same amount of rewards using a Gold Crowbar as you would by just using normal keys.
I am actually impressed with how close Khobai's guesstimate was.

but it destroys items 50/50 so you have to multiply by x2
