The best thing these type of events are good for is drawing out the trolls on both sides. It's great really because I'm good with names so I can just remember the post and skip over whatever garbage they will write in the future. Thanks OP!

As are non-boated clan UACs. Non-gauss ballistics are pretty much fringe playable at this point.

The AC/UAC weapons do fine in practice, they just weigh way too much to remain comparatively competitive with stuff like PPCs, pulse lasers etc to ever be able to edge them out of the meta except in fringe cases. That and they get outclasses within their own class of weapon with gauss and how UAC function to have double alpha damage potential.

Even an AC 5 weighs more than a PPC and that is with 0 ammo, how is it ever supposed to compare there (is it supposed to)? PPCs either need to change in their functionality or ACs need some massive buff for that to happen. I say give all PPCs a standardised and average projectile speed as base and give the all the splash damage effect for starters, but that's another topic.

You know you could just click Profile-->Forum Profile-->Edit My Profile-->Ignore Preferences, and write down the name of any spitwad you wish to not see in the future.

If IS is so overpowered, why can't IS compete in this FW event?
IS has been at or below 30% on controling Tukayyid. So... those playing Clans are getting the good rewards while those playing IS are getting the consolation daily prizes. ER LL/LPL or not, the Clans overwhelm IS the majority of the time.

This is primarily because the IS pugs are just so awful. I have tried to call and organize every few matches I've played. People ask what are gens? I say take down a gate and my entire team shoots the gate. I try and organize a ball and it looks like a blue green explosion went off in my mini map. It has so much more to do with the good Merc units having gone clan for the event as well. Ugh. I don't even know why I'm chiming in on this thread... Wait, I'm pooping at work... That about sums it up I'd say.

I believe when IS players complain about Clan being OP, the correct responses are:

Get gud.
Organise.
Don't bring LRM's to FW.

There you go.

Thanks for the tip, but as I mentioned before, names usually stick with me easily enough so doing so would be an unnecessary task. Besides, there is an important difference for me in muting speech and choosing to ignore what is said. I think it's better see different opinions then choose to ignore or apply them based on the merit of what is said. No matter how ridiculous an opinion or series of opinions, perhaps one day there is a chance any person will stumble upon a moment of brilliance and clarity in thought.
