Hello all,

The threat/potential impact of ST has had a really positive impact on my MWO experience, to date.


1) I started buying the modules I didn't have and began always dropping in fully moduled mechs (with lots cheap skating between mechs) - why not we were getting it all back aye PGI!?

2) Completely freed me from the poke-e-mech must collect them all mentality (weird for a while but has actually made playing much more enjoyable for me)

3) initial abhorrent node costs/respects helped me focus on building up a cbills reserve (currently @ 174m), 100m set aside for new tech... hope to hit 200 by when javelin hits (actually if ST is released I will well exceed this)

4) Playing already mastered mechs helped me find mechs that I really love (till ST at least); Cicadas, I now have 400 drops between the 2a & 2b variants, would have been less than 100 drops if not for point 2 and they are easily my favourite mechs to pilot now.

5) cbills... mastered mechs with appropriate modules that you are familiar with (hero/cbill bonus variants where poss) earns you more cbills ... who knew right?




So thank you impending ST, the threat of you improved my MWO experience (here's hoping that your release doesn't undo all the good work!! =P)
