I've read a lot on this already, but am still confused about one point. If I spend gxp on unlocking Pilot Modules this week, will that gxp be refunded on the 16th? What about the gxp I spent on unlocking Pilot Modules before December 13th?

I was only on the PTS briefly before it was taken down, but I recall seeing some GXP refunds, which I guessed came from module purchases/unlocks.
Iirc, the refund page showed several lines
Cbills from consummables
MC from consummables
GSP awarded from older modules (and masteries?)
Cbills from newer modules
And I think there was a GXP refund line as well, though I don't recall what it was supposedly from.

I could be totally misremembering the refund page, but there you go.

In addition to all that, each individual mech also had, potentially, HSP you could convert to SP, but you had to go through that step one mech at a time. Crazy, huh? It isn't like there is any reason not to convert specific mech legacy xp/skill unlocks into mech specific SP.

So, after all is said and done, apparently, we will now have XP, GXP, Cbills, SP, HSP, and GSP. Joy.

Pilot Trees: Full refund in GXP
Mech Tree (spend XP): Full refund in SP multiplied by number of mechs, you get the CBill part for free
Mech Tree (unspend XP): Full Refund in XP
Consumables: Full refund in MC or CBills depending on the Consumable
Modules before 3.12.16: Full refund in SP, you get the XP part for free
Modules after: Full Refund in CBills
