I originally called it UltraViolent because of the Alpha and firepower involved. But I gave him white color with natural black parts so it made me think of moby **** and the white whale. It is the white whale! ><

Extra Armor:

Extra Ammo:
http://mwo.smurfy-ne...104479bea0de855

I change the ammo around as I want between the 1 1/2 to 2 full tons per each AC/10 and AC/20 as I feel like it. I keep the Missiles at 100 ammo at all times. Though I guess the extra ballistics wouldn't hurt. Halfing the missiles and going 2tons each ac/10 and ac/20 wouldn't hurt any. You will go through the ammo but probably by the end of the match.

The 4 SPL's and 20 DHS are for a free infinite fire option on the arm. 8 DPS. Good for moving targets or lining up your shot. It can alpha but It's only good to do when you know everything will hit. The rest I unleash volleys of each weapon type as I move around to get targets. More ammo on the AC/10's can help because it has the better range/velocity and you may wish to fire it more.

The AC/10s /SPL's are on the arm because they are fired more as far as CD goes. And it gives more ability to aim the AC/10s.

140 alpha if desired with enough heat for follow up shots. I think up to near 266 damage in 2-4 seconds. Anything stupid enough to stand in front of you is dead and faster than it can return sufficient fire. Play as support/assault and wait for targets of opportunity. fire the lasers for free low DPS against anything you see in front of you. when it/if it stupidly stops in front of you unleach balistics/missiles. Just beware of velocity and odds of hitting. I usually fire one at a time to get good aimed shots off. You have massive dps advantage against everything.

Skill tree update:

MB1.0ST

https://tarogato-mwo...4c-b9c861f42718 <- If the Uac jam chance is not needed you can switch those point to something like Quick ignition in the operations tree.

You want to get mobility so you can keep your crosshairs on any light mech trying to encircle you so you can kill him without him being able to shoot your back out. The old direwolf skills with only 1 direwold(first section only) mastered can do this perfectly. If that can still be reproduced you can take on any mech. This should be a focus of anchor turn, yaw speed, and yaw. you might also need a certain amount of max yaw for convenience. I'm not sure of the exact numbers atm.
Potential Damage per armor/structure to direwolf damage: (normal values/ Full Survival tree)

Direwolf Damage:
Leftside: UAC10-80 2xUac10(10-40) + 1xuac20(20-40) = 80
Rightside: 3xSRM6(36) + 4xSPL(24) = 60

**STA=Single tap alpha; DTA= Double tap alpha; COS=can't one shot.

All mech: Cockpit: 33/40.53 (3xSRM6(potential accuracy issues)/ uac40)

Lights:
20 tons: CT:36/43.56(3xSRM6/uac10or20doubltap); ST/Legs: 30/36.3(3xuac10(Chainfire); 3xSRM6); Arms: 18/21.78(3xSPL(chainfire)/uac20)
.....
35 tons: CT: 66/79.86(3xSRM6+5xSPL/UAC80); ST/Legs 48/58.08(2x(4xSPL))/3xSRM6+4xSPL), Arms: 36/43.56(3xSRM6,6xSPL/Uac40)

Mediums:
55 tons: CT: 108/130.68(100 STA/ 140 DTA), ST/Legs: 78/99.02(uac80/100STA), Arms: 54/65.34(3xSRM6+3xSPL(chainfire)/3xSRM6+5xSPL(chainfire)

Heavies:
75 tons: CT: 138/166.98(140DTA/COS), ST/Legs: 96/116.16(STA/STA+UAC20or3xSPL(Chainfire)), Arms: 72/87.12(UAC80/Uac80+1-2xSPLor1xSRM6)

Assaults:
100 tons: CT: 186/225.06(STA+UAC/40+1xSPL(COS)/STA+UAC80(COS) ST/Legs: 126/143.64(STA+Uac20+1xSPL/DTA+crit?), Arms: 102/123.42(STA/STA+uac20 or DTA)

***Anything attached to back armor will have a slightly smaller value realistically.

There are alot more combinations than listed. But these are fairly quick ones. The mechs damage allows fairly on par damage to any component. And simple ones that always work based on the weapons damage. Like simply double tapping uac10's or 20's. You can also apply lower damage when using teamwork to spread the heat out. taking down only the armor and letting something else kill the structure is fairly efficient.

Keybidings(I use a browser mouse with 5 buttons 7 functions for all weapons and alpha on mouse.)
1: 2xUac10(normal fire)
2: 1xUac20(normal fire)
3: 4xSPL(Chainfire)
4: 2xUac10(Chainfire)
5: 3xSRM6(Chainfire)
6: 4xSPL(normal fire)

Or:
1: 2xUac10(normal fire)
2: 1xUac20(normal fire)
3: 4xSPL(Chainfire)
4: 3xSRM6(Chainfire)
5: 3xSRM6(normal fire)
6: 4xSPL(normal fire)

I can't tell if you are saying this or not, but Moby D*ck (Don't know why I have to censor it.) is the Great White Whale. Captain Ahab is the captain of the Pequod.

In regards to the build. It's an interesting build, and I'd try it if I had the UltraViolet. It's not really sustainable for a fight, and the SPL are terrible on the Dire Wolf, it's WAY too slow for weapons with that short of range, but it'd be fun to have a 100 point alpha strike that won't shut you down instantly.

That is why I named it that. Because it is my white whale. Har Har! I finally have it!! ><

But, yea, I wasn't completely sure if it was the whale or the hunter named moby ****.

I guess that would make me captain Ahab. Although when you play the mech you might feel a bit like you or the mech is Captain Ahab for several reasons...(one being if your leg is taken off.) Maybe the name is better an expression of the book as a whole. 8d Too bad we don't have harpoons in the game.

You could say this is Moby **** gone ballistic! ;d

I came up with a slightly different version before the new lasers are out. Or are they already? I haven't played in a while.
This uses two machine guns to help kill structure. and is more what will happen when the new micro lasers(which will replace the SPL's) and heavy machine guns come out(which will replace the normal machine guns. You must be more conscientious of ammo. But that may go away with the new lasers and items.

MB 2.0

The next version, which will use mircro lasers and possibly the new atms, will be called the MB ultra. It will possibly drop a heatsink to get more slots for ammo. This will put it back on par with the original for max damage.

MBUltra

ERSL are in place of MicroPulseLasers and machine gun and ammo in place of Heavy machine gun.

Skill tree for both MBUltra, MB 2.0, and regular versions:

https://tarogato-mwo...4c-c33059279587

Movement section may need to be tweaked. And if ammo capacity for normal ammo is +8 universally it could be used to improve the build. UacJam chance may also need to be added. Remove some movement points for this is needed.

Redos:

MB1.0redo / 2
MBUltraredo (Assume ERSL are MiPL or HSL)(131 and 151 alpha respectively.)
MBUltra2.0 (Assume ERSL are HSL)(144 alpha)
