This is what I'm working on and I might tweak it a bit more later.

Firepower (25)
  • (4) Laser Duration nodes, (7) Heat Gen nodes, (8) Range nodes and (6) Cooldown nodes.
  • All other nodes are Range/Heat/Cooldown so generally nothing wasted.
Survival (18)
  • (5) Armor nodes, (7) Skeletal Density nodes, (4) Reinforced Casing nodes, (2) AMS nodes
  • I feel that nothing is completely wasted. Reinforced Casing will still help survival a little bit and the AMS nodes I plan to use in QP since it's LRM heavy. Shock Absorbance has 0 value to me (no JJs) and this path takes none of it.
Agility (24)
  • (5) Kinetic Burst nodes, (5) Hard Break nodes, (4) Anchor Turn nodes and (5) Speed Tweak nodes
  • (4) Torso Pitch nodes and (1) Torso Speed nodes might be low value, but all my weapons are torso mounted so not totally worthless.
Mech Operations (15)
  • (3) Heat Containment nodes and (4) Cool Run nodes (7 out of 15)
  • (3) Hill Climb nodes (might be low value to some, but helps with hill humping) on mechs with high mounts
  • (2) Improved Gyro nodes (helps somewhat, but others might consider this worthless)
  • (3) Quick Ignition nodes(the most meh ones for me)
Sensors (9)
  • Standard 9 point investment to get 3 nodes of Radar Depravation.
  • You can say that 6 nodes are wasted to get Radar Derp.
I feel that overall with this particular tree I didn't waste too many nodes to get things I wanted, but I'll certainly keep looking for improvements on how to adjust it. I might have another version that scraps survival altogether for more Firepower and Aux (Coolshots) if I want a more offensive 2C instead of an all-around build. Posted Image

looks great i ques you using ams on your battlemaster? i hate shock absorbance because tlitterly useless but i don thave ams on my mech either ;p

In some matches in QP it can save my team and I can squeeze them in (just 2 AMS + 1 ton ammo) so it was just a DHS and some leg armor's worth really (have an arm fully stripped). I find it more convenient to have them since the 2C doesn't have JJs and there aren't a whole lot of instances of me falling from high places.

I wish shock absorbance also added some leg structure so they don't feel completely worthless. I'll take 10% of the mech's tonnage in leg structure to make shock absorbance more useful. Posted Image

A few games I played with it were fun, but I'm far too aggressive a player and I was running hot in the front line a lot of times. I have a second BLR-2C that I might run more offensive with double coolshots. :3
