The easiest way to fix the skill tree is to simply separate everything out. Take the Consumable section for example. Okay I want Enhanced Coolshot 1. That means I also have to purchase Consumable slot 1 and either UAV duration or advanced salvos, none of which I want. The way it is organized is confusing at best. I can see paying higher amounts of XP for increased range on weapons such as from range 1 to range 2, but there is just to much junk in the way to really make a mech good at something. The new skill tree was originally sold to us by the promise of making our mechs even more customizable. They are not!

Separate things out, return weapon ranges to lore, and add a couple of maps with new items or structure designs.
