Title says it all. Ive been playing for a year and felt I needed to come here and make my very first post on the forums conveying my dissatisfaction with the new skill tree. Where did you get the numbers 91 and 237 from? What would have been wrong with say 100 and 200 or 50 and 100? Why do I have to get speed retention, and fall damage nodes when all I want is cool run. All the bad nodes are at the top, and all the good ones are at the bottom of the trees. The skill tree makes me feel like a CHUM. I don't have many mechs (15) to respec like a lot of people do, but I'm always gonna feel like I've left something on the table or I've allocated nodes wrong, and the cost to experiment is so high that I just wont do it, and ill be left with a bunch of mechs I'm not satisfied with.

Seems fine to me. Took me about 15 min to see how I wanted to build my mech's.

Agreed.
Looks like a head wrecker at first.
5 minutes of poking about and I got to grips with it.
10 minutes after that, jobs-a-good'n.
It seems that RedAdept is not all that adept at all.

Don't, someone might post a potato.
But he has a point, it is a lot of information to absorb and put into effect. It would be nice to set skills and then take it to a training or fireing range to see how the mech would preform BEFORE committing to said skill points.

PGI and I are not friends at the moment. I have been playing casually for 3 years and it took three years to master the old skill tree system for my mechs. Now I have to start all over again. Thanks but no thanks. I do not feel like using real $$$ to try to master this new festering **** opps I mean skill tree. Just my $.02

1) 3years? Bro, I did 4 atlas mastered in maybe a week. If you're avrageing 10exp a match then ok but... dude...
2) why would you spend real money in the skill tree? Makes no sense.
3)3 years?! If you're having that much of a issue of suggest getting into a unit that is friendly to new or inexperienced players and have them help you get better. get on their TS/Vent/Mumbel/Discord and listen to them on how to improve.
