Go back to the days of Multiplayer Battletech: Solaris or 3025 beta where everyone played in stock mechs. the playing field would be level to all and thus a true test of skill. not a test of who build the uber Mech

I would love a stock mech QP mode but it would probably be very unpopulated especially now with the new Skill tree being introduced. Having stock mode as a private lobby option is nice and if you can get a group of friends together to play stock mode with ignore enhancements it is really fun. It turns into people not knowing what's on their mech until they drop and people overheating because heat is scaled through the roof in this game.
