A very brief and rushed trailer for something I've spent too long on.

Now you've got me curios. What did you use to make this? I would like to try a hand at it, though I would probably be terrible at first.

The main program that I use is Newtek's Lightwave 10.1 for the 3d elements.

I'm just doing all of this for fun when I'm not working, so quality matters little in comparison to ability to complete a 2-5 minute short and have some fun while doing it. Go ahead and give it a try, though I'd recommend you use something like Maya, as it is free and Lightwave will easily destroy your wallet if you aren't using it for work also.

You sound like me, the videos on my youtube channel are for fun not quality. However, I do not know much about Maya or Lightwave. I'm going to check out Maya first.

Spend a few days just tinkering around with it. Make odd shapes and see how far you can push the program. Watch other people do it to on tutorials and then you'll start to get a better idea of how it works. When you have a final idea, stick with it to the end.
