i have only respec'd a few non JJ assaults.im used to circling enemies and jumpjetting around them with medium mechs , with the new vectoring do you find it harder to keep a tighter circle around the enemy now?i havent tried it but would like to know b4 i add skills and then decide its too much.

i mean circling assaults with a JJ medium.

I am going to go heavy into this with my Wolverine which is more of a fun mech since its really tough to do well in. Looking forward to it.

Maybe I will respect out of it later, no big deal.

for assaults, JJ are still lack luster for assaults,
it does help but as Assaults already take less JJ they dont benefit enough from them,
(perhaps making Jump Lift a static +3m instead of a Percent(that way full Lift tree would give you +2.5JJs)

Vectoring is only a forward thrust, if you even find your self backing up and JJ backwards,
with Vectoring your backward momentum will be halted completely and you will boost forward,
this can help some JJ players but others will find it a hindrance,

the whole tree is bad because they have diminishing returns on taking multiple jumpjets

Ask Khobai, he's been a ray of sunshine lately.

No amount of magic can make the Victor worth a damn. Not even massive armor buffs. Those wide, low slung arms = hit the dirt, every damn time. And if you don't want to hit the dirt, you must seriously expose yourself, which means... massive focus fire.

I'm speaking as a PUG, of course. No time these days for anything else.
