For match score yes, but not for cbll rewards. Since it displays number of missiles shot down, I would think it's based on that.

I really dont bother with MS, it has no real value in the game. What counts is what CB you earn. AMS should have a CB reward when shooting down missiles targeting friendlies, much like the tag rewards.

Well AMS actually is incredibly valuable in game although that value is somewhat situational. Enemy narc'r (just recently learned that it works against narc and I've been around a few years) or enemy LRMs, not so great against SRMs but eh. In all these cases it is singularly the very best defense: takes absolutely no skill and works like a stackable damage reduction (more ams you can load the more reduction + more ams on your team more damage reduction for everyone on the team).

All that said it would be nice to get some CB reward for it. I do run the triple ams kitfox a good amount and while it is a blast to run especially when LRM boatage takes an upswing and check the damage at the end of the match to see the LRM boaters not even earning enough to pay for their coolshots Some CB reward for being that guy that is quite obviously thinking team play would be nice.

I love providing AMS support to mechs getting smashed by LRMs like in my Crab with double AMS. If they are really getting rocked I will step in the stream for them.

In other mechs, I watch for incoming LRMs and provide ECM cover.

Weirdly although most of the new Javelins can carry dual AMS, the leaderboard contest score does not include AMS points.
