Pre-existing st templates for each mech variant. Players who don't have the time or energy can pick from one of these templates to build their mechs.

Templates can come in various flavors.

Like "The Warrior", with strong emphasis on the firepower and survivability tree, or "The Scout" which focuses on the mobility and sensors tree.

Tops at 70 points so players can tweak the remaining 21 points to their flavor of choice.

Maybe once a month, PGI can also have trial "skill layouts" submitted by players or something. Players, including new ones, can play these on any mech they have including trial mechs even when they don-t have the xp necessary for all 91 nodes.

What do you think?

Sort of like the way player community designed 'Champion' mechs, some pre-made 'Champion' Skill trees could be nice, yes.

Yup its also a way for new players to stand a chance against vets because now they get pre-alloted 91 skill points instead of zero.
