If you mean the Laser Duration nodes, they help a little. Not a huge deal, but it's nice to have a slightly shorter burn time.

For IS Pulse: they don't really add much except against Lights, they were already faster than the game will let you turn your 'Mech.
For Clan Pulse: puts the cMPL down to below the 0.8 threshold for being able to react, makes cSPL have the burn of an isLPL...pretty good buff right there.

Does almost nothing for IS pulse lasers. Even on lights, you suffer more from hit registration than you do burn time, so no skill node is gonna fix that. Clan pulse lasers it's a definite must.

not much point spending on duration nodes fir any IS pulse lasers. On clanside for the LPL's it may be ok. for MPL's arguable dpeending on the rest you wanna do, for anything else unenecessary.

Clan side? yeah, for sure, especially LPLs (LPL + ERML builds gain a ton from that duration buff, so much so that i bet they increase durations by 10% in the 'energy rebalance' and make the nodes a requirement)
IS side? no, except maybe because its only 4 points, and you might be taking the weapon tree for range and heat gen anyway

This. I would also caveat it and say that, if your build is only cLPL (i.e. Shadowcat) and you aren't that far down in the firepower tree for range and heat, it's also not worth grabbing the duration nodes. You don't have enough damage over duration for that 10% to amount to much.

I dont take laser duration nodes for pulse lasers, the difference is very low, but i take it if i boat all other lasers, er large lasers take most benefit from those nodes but also medium lasers infact you can even save tonnage more effectively by switching from med pulse to mediums, also more range, ofc if you have nodes to spare.
