PGI,
With the newness of the Skill Tree and with people trying to figure out how best to set up their individual mechs, would it be possible to give each Mech a button that would allow it 3 test saves before a FINAL SAVE. Then you could start charging the 400 CBills to swap out the skill nodes.
As is, we go in hoping that what we are selecting is actually going to make a difference in the performance of our Mechs. Proving Grounds testing won't work, need real games with real opponents to test it.
Have the button show the number of times the mech's skills nodes can be saved prior to the FINAL SAVE button before the 400 cbills cost takes place.
I hope the 400 cbills is for the entire save not for each skill node that would swapped out.
Not sure how else we could test these nodes to see the effects on the mech unless Smufy Mech can set something up to help us chose a configuration for a certain skill set.
Thank you.

I would prefer free switching of a point you've already bought instead. The way respeccing works now is just primarily harmful for new players to prevent them from experimenting with builds, it promotes going to look up a meta mech and just mindlessly following that.
If the devs feel that is an unacceptable change then having a test arena where you can test the performance before committing the cost would help. For example the cost could just get reserved until you bring the mech into a real match then it gets actually drawn.
