Funny how Threads that offer outrage or concern about the new skill tree and PGI's Deaf Ear keep getting deleted.

Just remove all the quirks and the skill tree and revert back to the old system. Put modules back in play as normal. All these extra consumable are out of control.

if you want to balance the game reduce all hard points by half within reason (ie mechs with 3 hard points lose 1)

I'm still trying to figure out why anyone thought any of this was necessary.

They could be putting flavor into the game...vehicles, more game modes, combined arms, more maps, etc etc.

Instead of making the game more like Battletech, they sucked all the fun out of it.

Even more, who's going to be buying as many mechs as they used to now? People are going to avoid leveling up mechs which translates to even lower sales for PGI.

What a bunch of idiots.

its funny if you look at Russ's twitter feed all it is is praise for the skill tree. you know hes deleting anything negative. I got on FB and made my concerns known and wow lol some of the trolls there lashed out.

Yah this game needs more maps, vehicles, areo space fighters im unsure why they continue to put out questionable content.

In reality though, the same people complaining over and over don't amount to even 1% of the ACTUAL real player base. Hell the total forum population is only maybe 10% of the player base. So you guys go on believing that the majority hate the skill tree if it helps you sleep at night. PGI won't be reversing course on this one.

Why do we need 500 threads about the same complaint? I've not noticed any threads disappearing but then I'm not really paying attention and honestly again why do we need the forums saturated with the same complaints? Flooding out other feedback? Okay so instead of deleted but being moved into a singular thread would be preferred but if it is simply whining and not offering any sort of actionable responses then what is the merit of it anyways? Garbage is garbage.

'I hate X' ~ is just whining. 'I hate X and everyone else does too' ~ is whining with supposition and even though it's longer it's still just garbage.

'I hate X for these reasons: Y, Z. I think B would be a better course of action.' ~ an actionable response or sometimes called constructive criticism.

'I hate X and unless you do Y,Z I'm taking my ball and going home.' ~ is whining with a childish threat.

Simply, people used up their time over the months, years, put some money in it, and that all get reverted over the night, and they now have to do that all over again, with no chances that they will get to the previous state. Of course at least some of them feel cheated. Of course that some will react as they did. it is only understandable.
