Yes but 91 SP doesn't return your mech to near it's original operating perameters and to my knowledge 91 is the upper limit it will allow you to spend. i.e. I have 237 sp to spend on a mech so yes I should be able to activate every module on the mech, but... It will only let me activate 91 sp worth at any given time. Sure I can switch the 91 around any way I want and no matter how I switch them I still have an inferior mech to the one I purchased.

Big deal... there's no guarantee written anywhere that mechs will always operate to their original parameters. You're leasing the use of computer coded game features that don't exist except on PGI's servers and which they are legally free to alter whenever they wish. My kodiaks all originally had 90 degrees of torso twist to either side, and all except the 1 and 5 variants delivered with mobility quirks. Later they all got structure quirks also. Then the quirks changed. Then they lost twist. Now they only go 60 degrees of twist to either side, and none have any quirks at all and the turn rate is worse than an atlas. I will still play them though, and judging from all the kodiaks I see in games, so do others.

Not drinking the Kool-Aide on this one. Time to do something else.

If you had spent the time in the mechlab that you have spent whining on the forums, I'll bet you would have it at least half done by now. Just sayin'

Not likely tool, why should i have to waste my valuable time to tweak mechs i had already spent time and money on getting dialed into where i was happy with them, Now to have to tweak them on the skill tree and not even being close to what they were before. Guess what to hell with that kid.

You seem to like to spam every topic with the same statement. Yes, the game is different. Yes, you can't make your mechs play the way they used to.

Well guess what, other arena style games like MWO change significantly every other month (league of legends reworked jungle three times in one year, which is why I stopped playing). Until PGI starts massively overhauling this on a regular basis all I can say is adapt. And if you can't, the community won't miss you. You can either try to make the best of it and offer constructive criticism or if not; there's the door.

I for one am glad as player who hasn't had the time to buy or grind up 200+ mechs that I don't have to get three different types just to master one. I'll deal with the skill tree for that fact alone.

No, it's not perfect, but it's barely been out for more than a few days and people are acting like they already know it's **** or not. Let it gestate for a while and see where everything falls in a week or two. The fact you're so ready to pass judgement before everyone has gotten a grasp of the changes just makes me think you're mad for the most superficial reasons.

One punk , my so called spamming is outrage about how they ruined the game. Your welcome to your own opinion. Two i could care less about other games in regards to how and if they change. Cause guess what the other games i play never have marjor game altering changes...

i dont want to spend 40 hours of my time tweaking a 150 mechs

Why would you even need to master them all at once without even testing your builds?
It takes one evening to get fully familiar with the skill tree and then 2 minutes to master a mech each time (if you already know what exactly do you want from that mech).

ARE you DAFT, i should not need to have to tweak my mechs that i already spent time on this isa horrid system and wastes valuable playing time. basic mechlab and construction was fine. Dont need this time sink. PGI did this poorly like usual and peeps need to let them know.

I like the skill tree. The game is too easy and needs more things to make it harder. More simulator and less arcade mode. Would be nice to have to deal with ammo bay fires and rerouting generator and subsystems the way we did in the old Tesla Mechwarrior Pods.
