Death = My maiden name. Yes it really is the name I was born with. I have a birth certificate to prove it :D

Kitten = It's what my Hubby nicknamed me when we first started dating, I'll let you figure out why ;)

I like swords- they are in my opinion the purest weapon there is. Spears, Bows, Rifles, Axes- they are all multipurpose tools- Spears and Bows were first created for hunting, then adapted for war, axes were created for felling trees, and rifles are the modern equivalent of throwing spears or bows, used for both hunting and warfare, while hammers are used for building, and a tank is originally a repurposed tractor

A sword is different. You cannot hunt with a sword, or build a house with it. It has one purpose only- to be used as a weapon of war. A longsword is a knight's weapon, not a weapon for mere footmen, and it takes superlative training and skill to use.

Also, the sword and sunburst is the symbol of House Davion.

I've played a pen and paper RPG called RIFTS for years, and the group I play with decided that they wanted to do a campaign based from the perspective of the largest military in the world of RIFTS Earth, so, instead of some of the other names I had used (one being a name I came up with years ago whist writing a story, the other being a StarCraft reference), I thought of names that sounded...well...*normal*. "Harper" is a nod to Gene Roddenberry's Andromeda and is a surname I've used for close to three years now, and "Kai" seemed a normal-ish name, with a slight exotic flair to it. I use this tag on most of the things I play nowadays, since it fits just fine in almost any situation. =)

The name is a varient of Morgan, or Morgaine. You may recognize it as Morgan Le Fay, popularly known through Arthurian Legend. But it's origin is actually from Celtic Mythology. According to Celtic tradition the Morrigan (a Triple Goddess, thought of as the Goddess of Death) flew over battles, shrieking like ravens and claiming dead soldiers' heads as trophies.

My name is a variation on my usual nickname (I've dubbed it ten years ago in a roleplaying game), translated into something more... Marik-y.

My name is simply me mashing up my first and last name and then mutating them, I usually went with my last name before it.

As for my sig it is a sig made by one of our members for us to use, he actually made many with different mechs but i liked the atlas so I went with it.,

When I was in sixth grade I thought it was awesome that there were guys with their own private armies in South America that coerced the government in to letting them do what they wanted. The "Narcomen".

The signature is a quote by Gus Grissom.

Mine is just a name I use from a shortened tagg I used on all my other games Blanner, cause I always enjoyed the Black Lanner. However I'm more of a Ghost Bear fan and the Lanner is more Falcon,so I just made it into a name.

I've had a character in one game or another for about 30 year named "Vexgrave Lars". This is just the latest iteration.

* I think I had a lego spaceship pilot named this too.. but I was about 8 or 9, so not sure...
He started as a Drow Elf in AD&D.
My MW name in TT Battletech/Mechwarrior
Been a Pilot in numerous Computer Sims.
Profile in many Strategy games.
Many Many FPS games...
Was a Pod in EVE, flew AMARR
A Dark Elf in WOW (VERY Short lifespan for this poor sod)

And soon... A Mechwarrior (Again) in MWO.
Just a name I made up as a kid.. and its just stuck with me ever since.

Well, Thom was my most sucessful mechwarrior ever. I started playing him around 3058. Ended up taking him to Solaris and winning the grand championchip (It's kinda lame though we misinterperted the rules for HEAP rounds for AC. Maxtech was kinda vauge, I hate hollow victories.) Got rich in the process, invested in a jumpship company, made even more money.. Joined up with St. Ives in time for the Capellan 'Solution' Stoped playing about then. :)

As for my sigs, I'm not that computer savy and can't find a good Capellan one within size limits. So I took one of my quotes from BTU and one of MadCap's....

Mine is a passcode found at the bottom of the first MechWarrior game's instruction manual.

Back in the day to prevent ppl from pirating games they required you to enter in a word from one of the pages in the manual, thus verifying you owned the game (which blew chunks if you ever lost the instructions!!!).

In TT I named a Banshee I was forced to play "Grim Jim" because how I felt about it. Turns out I went undefeated for several months against clan opponents and the clanners began using "Jim" as my callsign.

Where to start...

I do garden as a hobby. Anything other then that is pure trolling. I picked this name due to the fact that its "unique" and also for the fact that it bothers people. Case in point I used to run around in a bright yellow atlas with daisies painted on its knees, going by the name of "pansy" in MW4.
Making people question themselves about what they lost to was fun. Also when your dead your pushing up daisies. Hence the name.

My name was one I just made up when I got my first pc back in the mid 90's, and way before that obnoxious creature with a similar name made it's way to the big screen.
