Does it make a significant positive changes for some Mechs? Like lowering engine size to pack more ammos or something else?
With previous system we all had Mechs with carefully finetuned loadout for a while that would almost never change but now I'm curious if some Mechs would really benefit from this change.
What is your Mech who totally welcome this change? What changes did you do?

A lot of mechs can step their engine down a tiny bit and squeeze some tonnage out. Really any non-omni can do that now.
The biggest winners are mostly non-meta mechs that had mediocre engine caps but high mobility buffs. Orion for example. Their more meta peers with higher engine caps are now less maneuverable creating a little more balance.
While people are still playing with the assaults and heavies because they got the most obvious buffs it's the mediums that got the biggest boost. There's a number of mediums that can now trade favorably with much bigger mechs.

Clan omnis with small engines (*cough* Night Gyr) and IS mechs forced to run standard engines have been the main beneficiaries, I think. Other than that, you can run silly builds like 5xLPL w/ XL280 on WHM6D/GHR-5P without feeling like a massive troll, since the mobility is quite good with torso twist nodes and speed tweak.
