I was sure there were plans to drop the base sensors to 600m; but due to the original Sensor Warfare Test Server being shut-down due to hatemail, it may have been missed.

Is there any documentation on this from PGI? I know I used to run BAP and sensor range modules on one of my LRM mechs pre-skill tree and was never able to detect ECM mechs at over 300m.

There's never any documentation except some random patch notes. People have to figure out most of those things by themselves. Plenty of questions where nobody knows answers and nobody cares.
