Just get a Clan Streak boat.
You'll be one-shotting locusts left and right.

I'm surprised you didn't suggest quads as the ultimate solution!

I heard if you apply decals your aim on lights gets better.

Is there a "back up against a wall +3%" node path?

I think they will introduce it in "basic knowledge of how to play this game" skill tree.

Edit: come to think about it, if there was such tree, people would still throw SPs only in firepower and mobility, and then go to forums to whine about terribly OP lurms and light mechs.

Competent aim. Locusts die fast if you keep your fire on target, and a single lucky PPFLD shot will ruin their day. That's how agility tanks work. Lower your sensitivity and DPI if you're twitching all over the place.

First time I was taken out in a Locust shortly after starting MWO, was from a 'friendly' Atlas backing up into, then on, and finally over me as I was running back behind the frontline. I was legged by its initial 'impact', it kept trying to back up, and took out my other leg.

Most of my "clean" Locust kills have been AC-20. Gauss or PPC in that order. But when I just want to hunt down and murder the little bastds I use a heresy build oxide with S-SRM-2s and a BAP.

The first clip was my first match with it so its a bit flaky, and no weapon modules IIRC. But I like that three Locusts got splatted in it Posted Image.

Haven't tried it with the new tree yet.
