Civil war is pushing the timeline effectively to 3067-3068

However many weapons/equipment choices from this timeframe are still not being included.
Here are some ideas for weapon function.
Clan racs- Same as inner sphere racs, clan racs occupy more slots, albeit have greater range.
IS- RAC-2(dmg-2, tons 8, clan-4 slots, is-3 slots) RAC-5(dmg-5, tons 10, clan-8 slots, IS-6 slots)

Hags- Clan hags are the direct response to IS heavy gauss, and is released at the same time as light/heavy machineguns. Firing at a similar rate to RACS, but having massive damage potential, and wide spread of fire, and firing multiple slugs/shot, resulting in a auto-shotgun like gauss rilfe. The weapon would have a similar wind up time before firing, but they dont jam. HAG-20 dmg-1/slug, 10 tons, 6 slots. HAG-30 dmg 1/slug, 13 slots, 8 tons. Hag 40 dmg-1/slug, 10 slots, 16 tons. The higher the rating of hag, the more slugs fired per shot.

Arrow IV- Arrow iv artillery is MASSIVELY heavy, and difficult to mount, and can only be fired at a target marked by tag. Clan-12 tons, 12 slots. IS-15 tons, 15 slots. damage 20.

Plasma weapons- Plasma weapons for IS and clan differ slightly, For IS, the plasma rifle causes higher damage, and induces less heat, for clans, the plasma cannon causes massive heat, but less damage.
Plasma rifle(is)- dmg, 10, 6 points of heat (whatever that translates to) 6 tons, 2 slots.
Plasma cannon-(clan) dmg, 3, 12 points of heat (again, whatever that translates to) tons 3, slots 1.


Bombast laser- The bombast laser would have a charge up, similar to gauss albeit much longer. Dealing 7-12 damage dependent on amount of time charged, and having having range dependant on time charged, shorter range at longer charge, longer range at shorter charge. 7 tons, 3 slots.

Machinegun arrays-
The machinegun array weighs 0.5 tons, and occupies one slot.
Allowing you to mount 2-4 heavy, standard, or light machine guns into one slot/hardpoint.
Weight increases dependent on number of machineguns and type of machine gun mounted.
Mounting functioning similar to mounting heat sinks into engines.

Example-mg array, 0.5 tons.
4 is standard mgs mounted, 0.5 tons each.
total weight-2.5 tons.
All mounted machineguns must be the same type. Function is identical for clan/is.
Weapon model akin to a very small rac.
Heavy flamers-
1.5 tons, double the heat of a regular flamer, 4 damage/shot. Fired in a single burst jetstream (how flamers are SUPPOSED to function anyway) using ammunition. Ammo explosions=5 damage per shot unused.

Er flamers-
Same as regular flamer, longer range.

Small cockpit-
Small cockpits are for is only (all clan cockpits are small)
Reduces the weight of the cockpit by 75% and reduces the size of life support to 1 slot.
Allowing larger weapons in the head mount. Increases weapon spread and reducing range/crit chances slightly to compensate.

Compact gyro-
50% increase in weight, 2 less slots taken up center torso.

XL gyro-
takes up 2 more slots CT, 50% less weight.

Compact engine-
50% heavier than standard fusion engine, 50% less slots.

While it is nice to get new stuff, we should not put all the Aces onto the table. Keep your Ace cards for better times.

Let's get the new tech we have planned for now, get to balance it roughly and have fun for 1-2 years before we push any more new stuff, or there will be nothing left for the next years to look forward to.

You missed Light AC2/5s for the IS.

These are much more viable than HAGs/Plasma.
