Weapons Dont Sync Now, Not Happy

i am highly dissapointed that this change to the skill tree instead of modules has broken my builds.

before i could use modules to make 2 different weapons sync up, i could use modules so my erll would have the same cooldown as a LPL on a build or stuff like that.

with this generic cooldown skill now all the weapons are out of sync, i can no longer use srm6 cooldown mods to fire them at the same time as a srm4, my srm4+6+6 build now shoots staggered when i spam the button.

this is super lame, nothing worse than being in a fight and spamming the button waiting for the srm alpha to come out and only have a small part of the whole leave the tubes.

what the hell pgi??? can you at least make it so i can disable the cooldown or reduce it on a weapon i'd like so that it will fire slower?! this is so stupid, i am wasting half of my damage or using it prematurely because when i am heavily engaged torso twisting and waiting for the missiles to leave the tubes i don't have any time to look at the bottom right corner to see if ALL the weapons have finished their cooldown cycle

please fix this asap, at least allow me to artificially gimp some of my own weapons so that they can work together again in synergy

You can choose to have less DPS
That's your own choice

Now you get all the bonuses to your ERLLs AND LPLs.
Be happy with that.

You have the choice to not pull the trigger

Only twist when your slower gun is done cycling.

i like that different size missile launchers sync up now rather than boating one size. this means i can now cram whatever size will fit in the alloted space, and all rockets perform the same. it also makes the srms fire in a nice staccato that kind of helps manage heat.

You'll just have to manage your shots yourself.

I've been using this stuff too, modules combined with quirks to get same cooldown rates on certain weapons to be able to use them as single firing groups. Like one of my mechs did good use of C-SRM6's with C-Med Pulse Lasers both at nearly same recharge, now playing it feels awkward.

i dont see how this would be a problem, your getting a universal benefit with the new System,
if your Medium lasers have a 3sec Cycle and your Large lasers have a 3.25 Cycle,

Before
3.00(MLs)
3.25(LLs) down to 2.85(-12%Module)
its still not perfectly Synced(0.15Diffrence)

Now
3.00(MLs) down to 2.74(-9%Module(Clan)
3.25(LLs) down to 2.95(-9%Module(Clan)
Again not perfectly Synced(0.21Diffrence)

so the full difference you say you are feeling is around 0.06sec,
Dam i would love to have your hand eye control, ;)

I've noticed the de-sync too, but just took Mcgral's advice and waited that fifth second longer.

Well, if this is unplayable to you, then don't even bother with other MechWarrior games. Seriously, of all the things pertaining to MWO, THIS is the big problem?

kind of ridiculous as a complaint, im guessing you play by simply holding down all the buttons? in which case i guess it would mess up your play style.

as others have said just delay your fire its not hard.

Awkward for sure but just use what ever cooldown indicator signals your srm6`s in the hud right near the center reticle, click when the one you want is ready and not before. Very handy having them where your eyes are probably already looking.

So basically, you're complaining that you're not good enough to manage your shots yourself and PGI took away your crutch that made it so you didn't have to? Seems like a valid complaint.
