yeah no guilds here. No elf ears either so we have units instead.

I end up sometimes against my own unit members on the opposing team in QP. namely for some reason CHRX seems to drop against me quite frequently. No matter. No quarter is given, we do not avoid each other and sure as **** we aint giving out anything. I play to win, so does he if we have to fight each other so be it. I excpect no freebies and none are given, if anything i fight even harder to kill him.

i have to confess.

if i see certain unit-mates (and friends) in the opfor, i tell my team to focus them down asap and i make sure they're my priority target.

Yes the were blatantly giving friendly locations to opposite team.

Define "blatant"

Did they do it in the all chat so you could all see it? If so then you should have screenshots and report it, would fall under "helping the enemy" clause.

If they did it some other way then how do you know?

I land on same or opposite team as several unit members quite often, it's inevitable because we're all pretty much the same tier and have lot's of members playing similar hours in a game with relatively small population.

Should be even more common for the largest units. When that happens it's not uncommon that people make jokes about sync dropping in chat, but it's just jokes.

Either you don't have evidence to show in which case it's a useless accusation to begin with, or you do have evidence in which case you should send that to PGI rather than make forum threads.

Report them in and out of game.

Name and shame them in FB and Reddit (not here, against CoC).

Move on with life, it's just a game. Some people have to cheat to feel good about themselves.

OK honestly, I have thought that few people in here forums have been "too" mean to you lately but this topic... ftw really? This is beyond stupid.

Sometimes I can't tell if he really believes the things he types, or if he just puts them here for our amusement, like some sort of master level troll.

On a side note, I go out of my way to try and kill my friends and unit mates. And get a screen capture for future reference.

If I see one of my pals in my unit in a quick drop or those times when we were/are running smaller groups - we'd just tell them in chat or on comms where to meet us so we could fight it out.

Go to a part of the map that isn't the standard play and just have a good time shoosting each other.

It will happen frequently (word choice there dependent on your selective cognitive biases) even with a small unit off peak hours.

Because it's not like there are that many different matches running at any given time.

You ever notice that from drop to drop you keep seeing mostly the same people? Think about it.

In fact, spend some time doing actual analytical, unbiased thinking, and not pot-induced paranoid what-iffing.

Did i already mention my theory of Johnny = Mudhut (I have calculated everything, worldwide tinfoil production would not be able to handle both of them being different persons).

This thread delivers further confirmation for my theory.

not for the lulz. for the win.

if coordinating with my puggies mean that we can win the match by focusing the bigger threats, more power to me! bwarharhar

Oh really?

This same topic has been made at least 10 times since guilds were synch dropping before group queue was made.

Maybe you copy and pasted a reply from those topics, because not only is this topic not new, your reply isn't new either.

Do name calling or what ever shifty reply you want to make but seeing the same guild tag on opposite teams isn't theory.

Lots of negative comments and insulting comments which I think everyone expects when it comes to group synch dropping into regular queue. But it doesn't explain why groups are synch dropping into regular queue and not playing group instead.

I am one of the players that do not mind groups in regular queue. :) I would prefer it to be done properly though.

Also cant stand giving opposite team locations away, and I doubt they even think it is cheating they are so far gone.

See if groups were aloud in regular queue, then what excuse would they be making to synch drop onto opposite teams next? I have seen every excuse imaginable why they synch drop onto opposite teams up until now and I am genuinely interested in what excuses they come up with next. :)

They were openly synch dropping onto opposite teams before, but the excuse was that the groups were to small to allow for them to group properly... Not theory, they were doing it openly which forced the group queue to be made.

The vast majority of the games I play are in Group Q. However, there's been rare periods of time where my buddy and I try playing Group Q and it is absolutely horrible. Like, nothing but stomp matches of the worst games I've played in months. Nothing but meta tryhard 10 mans practicing their elite seal clubbing skills. Since it is just the two of us, we move to Solo Q. We do get into the same game about 90% of the time. However, we are almost ALWAYS on the opposite teams. We both relish in the opportunity to blast each other dead. In fact, I will intentionally play bait to lure out my lancemate because I know his desire to kill me will outweigh his usually sensible nature to preserve himself. It's not like one of us is going to intentionally tank our team by spilling locations or something. What would be the point of that? One of us would still be losing the match.

In short: 2 guys from the same group, on the same or opposite teams, really isn't going to sway a battle significantly.

The very last game i played of this it comes down to me and one other guy, so im going to engage him knew where he was but not what he was. So im closing in my huntsman and guy on my team screams over coms "omg enemy mech round that corner" just as i contact. Totally knocks my concentration off. And the other guy was in an orion II and me in a LRM huntsman... he didnt even need to cheat to kill me. Its ok tho its like a badge of honor :) but it just goes to show what people get up to. tut tut tut.

back when i used to do this kind of shenanagans in WoT with a clan we didnt give intel to the other guys sitting in our teamspeak.. We cursed mutted and taunted them.. I personally would get yelled at to stop running around in circles SO I CAN SHOOT YOU!!! My favorite was being told shooting you is like trying to hit a jackrabbit on crack..

You may think its match fixing going on but given the chance to poke fun at your buddies at the same time you shoot them in game most of the time it was tons of trash talking amongst frenimys.. If anything we try to shoot each other first for bragging rights to who killed who..
