It would be kinda cool but I think it would be very powerfull as you get a very clear outlines of the target as well of most of the zones of the mech. Theirfore it either has to be tied to a euqipment to take up space and weight or be very short ranged.

Yeah that'd be cool if the hitboxes and health status of a mech would overlay onto the mech itself instead of onto the paper doll....

But I think that is too powerful for this game or you could just make the equipment heavy as crap like targeting computers or command console so you're forced to leave something behind.

What if you couldn't fire when using it, or it generated heat when turned on?

How about this: If you activate enhanced imaging (requires an investment in equipment/crit slots/tonnage) every enemy mech immediately can lock on to due to your suddenly very large EW signature.

That would be pretty intense. People would be much more afraid to use it.

make it for 2ton and above targeting computers... I mean come on, if hope a 4k lbs calculater could do that.
