Ultrawide monitors are on the rise! The more players like myself see them; the more we want them. PGI, i have this to say: Please increase the ratio of the game from 16:9 to 21:9. That way, we can enjoy the game with a better immersion than what currently have.

I have plans on getting the Asus 34" Ultrawide, the PG348Q, and I would love to see this game increase it's ratio. To take advantage of the newest technology out there. Please, do this.

Thank you

I already play on an ultrawide, and love the ability to see out the side windows of several cockpits. The display extended properly. Not sure what you are complaining about?

Not complaining. Just simply asking them to take advantage of increasing the ratio. is all.

Again, I'm not sure what you mean. I use a 21:9 ratio, on an ultrawide, just fine.

Also playing on an ultrawide screen and don't have any problems. Adjust your FOV maybe its not setup right for the resolution you are working with.
I figured out that when I look through the sidewindows that at some point things get warped a bit if your FOV is wrong. Try searching for a map with something straight like a building and the play with the FOV settings. At some point it will break the line to a strange angle.

Something I noticed and what also might be what the OP means with "using the widescreen" is that the HUD is still fixed to a 16:9 ration at max. The elements don't move all the way to the side. Also sometimes you will notice that some effects that are overlayed to the cockpit aren't done in fullscreen but are also cut of at a max ratio of 16:9.
For example the startup sequenz or the red heat effect IIRC. I have stopped to notice it after a few plays.

Anyway if OPs thing realy is about the HUD elements not moveing all the way to the side I say thats a good decision. In other games I play you start to miss vital informations because they aren't in the center of your view anymore. I can imagne the same happening with MWO.
Best thing would be to have a modular HUD where you can set position, size and color of your HUD yourself.

Ah, if that's what OP means, then... yeah actually I agree with keeping things where they are.
