[Sunstruck]

I was wondering what mechs should someone get to practice with if their interested in MRBC next year. I set up a 5 ER Large Grasshopper 5P yesterday.

Its all going to change over the new few months. For now its mostly clan mechs
timber,night,mad2c,crow,hunch2c,cheater,kdk,grasshopper,jenner2c,battlemaster.

Lights: LCT, Jenner 2C, WLF-2, ACH and to a lesser degree the SDR-5K (seems less potent since skill tree), PNT-9R, KTF, ADR (these last two mainly in the brawl of drop 1) and if you're really into lights, try the FS9-A if only because Tfun90 is trying to make it a thing again. 8SPL is nasty, but not sure the mech really has enough going for it to bring it back.

Meds: Hunchie 2C, HMN, HBK-4SP, TBT-5J, ENF-4R, IFR, VPR, GRF-3M, NVA, and for certain niche roles the SCR, SHC, SHD and WVR-6K

Heavies: GHR, Orion 2CA, TBR, EBJ, SMN, NTG (and more NTG's) with role players like the DRG-1C, CTPLT-K2 (yea, this guy will be a thing), WHM (especially if you're BanditB17 from Marine Mechs!), MDD and LBK

Assaults: AS-7, BLR, BNC, GAR, Marauder 2C, Kodiak 3 with Maulers, and Highlander 2C's getting occasional slots.
