These have to be some of the worst hardpoints i have seen. Even the hunchback doesnt have jj.

Maybe the highlander but then again its a highlander lol

anyone going to buy one of these over the other clan heros?

The Orion is just so bad ! It's a Protector without one missile HP...

And Jenner ? It is outclassed by any varient...

Huge dispointement.

Only the highlander sports some flavour with 2x ballistic in different location and the lazor in the arm...

Yeah, but what can it mount to make the best of that? It can't do any sort of splat build, it can't do SPL boating. It has absolutely nothing going for it.

The HBK-IIC is just silly, had it been 2B in one side and 2E in the other, JJs, and no arm weapons, it would've been more interesting.

The Highlander IIC is just odd as well, it doesn't have the speed to brawl but for range all it can do is be a much worse Night Gyr.

Not that I'm complaining because I won't spend a dime on these and I still dislike PGI's desire to push the hero paywall BS.

I guess HMGs and a cHLL might be worth something, but goddamn that's bad. Those are the hardpoints that should be on the Locust 1V!

Also, I wish they would stop advertising these things with loadouts that are 100% impossible to mount. It's very misleading.

cant even mount 6HMG and a HLL, HLL takes 3 Crits, so the best you can do is a LPL or PPC,

PGI being disingenuous with their advertising is what. Clans don't get any new PPCs, that's just them using hax to make something cool-but-impossible/unworkable.

Gotta love PGI purposely misleading people with the images of each mech boating way more weapons than the actual mechs can carry. They did this with the Resistance heroes also. Pretty scummy.

dude when I saw the actual hard points I facepalmed so hard.
The Huniche artwork and jenner artwork look like something I'd actually want to run.
Except they are not the actual hardpoints being injected into the game.

PGI is out of touch and doesnt care about its paying customers.
That or their art department doesnt know/care how battlemechs work or want to put in the effort.

Clan version of the CDA-3C with 5 tons less weight but 50% more machine guns and added jumpjets.


P.S. Some of that weapon geometry looks outright terrible, like someone just copy&pasted it onto the model.

I gotta give a big complaint on the artwork. I understand when they use the base/prime model's stock config and are just showing off the camo scheme,..but what is shown here is just an atrocity.
