So I have my ticket, reserved my room for 4 days, and all that is left to do is get my plane tickets which I will check for best price over time. Might challenge United Air-fights on twitter for some discounts lol.

I'm hoping we will have a playable demo of MechWarrior 5 Mercs.

Also they definitely need to bump up the merchandise offerings this time. I ended up spending most of my merch money on drinks that night.

Anyway, who else is going to #MechCon2017 ?

You don't need a room to get F&%*^$ by PGI. They've been doing it for years without one.

71 CAD? That's the price of an all day concert type festival. What do they provide for the ticket?

I remember last Mechcon, while I didn't attend, was actually a very nice and formal event. The devs are pretty good people in person and Lauren is a freaking giant. However, NGNG still isn't in blue and that bothers me. They're financially backed by PGI and while this is public information it was released in a very... discrete, almost shady way.

What came of that?

*I originally created a topic about this and it was discussed in length with 4 PGI representatives joking about it in a very tone deaf way. Eventually, people lost interest. However, to bring this up again is not intended to be in violation of the CoC as I do have a right to ask this question! It wasn't answered!

Every Con I go to has the Mechwarrior pods ... but MechCon doesnt have them?

I know these guys pack up the pods and travel all over the US for conventions. You can see them at just about any convention near Houston and who doesnt like to get drunk and play Mechwarrior? The pods even make it out to GenCon, they will take them anywhere they think they can make a buck. Tried talking to Tina about it, but I guess she is too busy to respond to my messages.

Well, if you would like to play in the pods and get a more simulator experience ... let PGI know. I dont know if more Mechwarrior stuff is welcome at MechCon but it just doesnt seem like a MechCon without the pods.

Eh the thing that could stop them from going would be customs since they will be going into another country. That and maybe travel expenses as they don't go anywhere further then Atlanta.

I can completely understand why they don't go to MechCon.
